I've spent most of my career going deep on backend systems and distributed architecture, first at Google, then at Ant Group, and now as a Staff Engineer and tech lead at Charles Schwab. Along the way I kept a lot of notes to myself. This blog is where I start sharing them.

Expect posts on system design walkthroughs, lessons from leading cross-team efforts, and the occasional deep dive into a tool or pattern I think is underrated. I'll mix in video when it's the clearest way to explain something, like the walkthrough below.
